What goes into the quote

The cost follows the work.

01

Material & support

Filament used by the part and any support structures or purge material required.

02

Print time

Part size, geometry, orientation and requested surface detail affect machine time.

03

File adjustments

If your file needs changes to print well, we agree them with you by email first. Any adjustment work is shown in the written quote.

04

Quantity & finishing

Batch size, support removal, requested finishing and packing are included as relevant.

Delivery, applicable tax and payment terms are stated in the quote once business details are confirmed.

Keep the part economical

Prepare the file for the job and the process.

  • Use a wall thickness and infill suited to the loads, not a default maximum.
  • Orient the part to reduce unnecessary supports and protect critical faces.
  • Use a material appropriate to heat, moisture, impact and flexibility.
  • Bundle repeat parts when their dimensions and settings are the same.

We’ll flag a print-time or material trade-off before proceeding. See our FDM file guide for fit-related considerations.

Before production

You approve the scope first.
